What is Isolate?
Isolate starts with an Ethanol Extraction, then moves through fractional distillation to separate Lipids, Waxes, Terpenes and other non-targeted Cannabinoids from the final product which is a distillate 90% CBD rich oil. This then undergoes a crystallization process in which the rest of the components other than CBD are stripped out leaving us with a beautiful 99%+ CBD crystal to formulate with.
What is a Full Spectrum Extract?
Full Spectrum is a loosely used term in this industry but essentially means that an extract contains a portion of all the components of the original plant including CBD, terpenes, chlorophyll, waxes, lipids, and trace amounts of THC less than 0.3%. All of our Full Spectrum Extracts are derived from Supercritical CO2 extraction.
What is hemp? Is it legal?
Hemp is designated as any cannabis plant testing under 0.3% THC by the Industrial Agricultural Farm Act of 2014. Colorado has some of the most well regulated and well tested Hemp in the world. For centuries hemp has been used to manufacture mold resistant rope, clothes and paper. New cultivation techniques that have been largely defined in Colorado, have given rise CBD rich hemp that is proving beneficial for a wide array of ailments.
Where does your hemp come from?
We always use Colorado grown hemp farmed using organic cultivation techniques. We work with several farms in Colorado, most are just north of Denver or near Pueblo. Everything we manufacture is fully compliant with Colorado Law.
What makes our hemp different?
Our Colorado based farms use only the best organic cultivation techniques based on years of experience with CBD Rich Hemp Cultivars.
Extraction
Can you provide info about your extraction process?
We manufacture CO2 and Isolate extractions. All of our full spectrum products utilize CO2 extracted CBD and our Isolate products utilize 99%+ CBD isolate sourced locally from Colorado grown and extracted hemp.
How is Herbal Fracture Full Spectrum Extract different?
Herbal Fracture’s CO2 process is largely unique within the industry because our extracts retain more of the original plant components than many “Full Spectrum Products” in the industry. Simply put, we retain a more complete spectrum of the original plant material. We target beneficial terpene profiles, chlorophyll, lipids, CBD-A/CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, and trace amounts THC-V/THC-A/THC. This unique process provides a much more well rounded, effective and bio-available product.
How is Herbal Fracture Isolate Different?
Our Isolate products are infused with a unique terpene profile that we designed to mimic our full spectrum extracts terpene profile. Our target is to mimic mother nature’s full spectrum effects while avoiding THC entirely and we’ve had some fantastic results!
Dosage, Testing, & Certifications
How much do I use?
The best way to ensure a regulated, consistent effect is daily use. Take note of how the product is affecting you as results may vary. The maximum dosing we recommend is 1mg of CBD, per 2 pounds of body weight, per day. The majority of our clients use between 10-25 mg of CBD daily and see great results. People fighting more serious ailments may not see noticeable benefit until 25-50 mg of CBD daily. We have tested single dosages of up to 2500mg with no harmful side-effects.
How much should my pet use?
Through testing with different veterinary offices, we have found that using a dosing regimen of 1mg of CBD for every kilogram of body weight with great success.
1 kg = about 2 lbs
So a 50 lb dog is roughly 25 kg and should take about 25mg of CBD per day.
A 10 lb dog is roughly 5 kg and should take about 5mg of CBD per day.
Do you test your products?
Of course! It would be irresponsible not to! (More Info: Testing Results)
To ensure the highest quality products in the world, every product that leaves our facility is tested through third party Colorado approved and regulated labs. Every product must pass a rigorous 6 panel test for Potency, Terpene, Bio-Contaminate, Residual Solvent, Pesticides and Heavy Metals. No matter where you decide to get your CBD, please ensure that testing like this has been done to ensure the safety of the end user and legitimacy of the vendor.
Which certifications do you have?
We are registered with Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA), Denver Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE), Metrc (Colorado Marijuana Tracking and Compliance), Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), we also operate a Certified Food Grade Manufacturing Facility in Silverthorne, CO.
Will I pass a drug test?
Our Isolate CBD products contain 0 PPM (Parts Per Million) of THC and THC-A. All of our isolate products are labeled with “THC Free” on the packaging. While we have not been able to produce a positive drug test with any of our isolate products through our in house testing, our lawyers tell us not to promise that you won’t fail a drug test.
With any Full Spectrum product you run the risk of testing positive for a drug test if the product is used for a long period of time. Our testing has showed that after 2.5 months of using 20mg of CBD/ day can trigger a positive result for the enzyme that breaks down THC.
